Requirements
Behaven Kids Specialized Day Program provides help to children ages 2 to 8 who have moderate to severe or chronic behavior problems. Children attend Behaven Kids all day, M - F. Using research-based, proven-effective methods, our highly skilled child behavior specialists work with your child to change behaviors that are standing in the way of your child's success in school, at home, or in the community. Examples of behaviors that children receive help for include biting, hitting, kicking screaming, tantrums, not accepting "no," foul language, accepting consequences. Parent(s) meet weekly with a counselor to learn our methods to use at home. On average children are ready to return to their "home" preschool or grade school in about 10 to 12 weeks. Transition services are offered. The program has a 96% long-term success rate.

Behaven Kids Specialized Day Program Behaven Kids provides the following services for children and families: * Specialized Day Program for children 2 to 8 with moderate to severe or chronic behavior problems * Individual Counseling * Family Counseling * Development and Training for early childhood professionals and parents * Books Restrictions * Children admitted to the Specialized Day Program are 24 months old through age 8. Children older than 8 may be considered on a case-by-case basis. * Parent(s) of a child admitted to the Specialized Day Program must attend weekly sessions with a counselor. * Individual and Family therapy is by appointment
